ASSIGNMENTS: Film analysis (25% of final grade), annotated bibliography (25%), midterm (25%), and final (25%). Attendance is mandatory; more than two unexcused absences will result in the reduction of your course grade. Detailed assignments will be distributed in class and posted on the website. Exam questions will be drawn from class reading, lectures, and screenings.
